Important Things for Nepalese:
       Japan is a very different experience especially for Nepalese students. Japanese, despite being at the pinnacle of physical comfort, follow their culture and tradition with equal enthusiasm and importance.
       In fact, for the initial 1-2 year Nepalese students go to Japan for Japanese  language study. They can only enter to Bachelor's Master's or to any other professional studies after that. Therefore, students from non Khanji nations (Khanji means the written language of Japan, China and Korea) should put their special efforts in studying Japanese Language during the language training.
       Generally, Nepalese students looking for employment opportunities in Japan after studies should better go for technical or engineering studies. Students wanting to either stay in Japan or return back to Nepal for business should better study management or economics.
Besides, there are many other subjects available in Japan which is relevant to Nepal. One has to choose any subject to study based on his/her institution and capability. Generally, it's not mandatory that you pursue the same study you were doing.

Tuition Fees:
       In brief, to study 1 year in Japan requires from 580 thousand to 960 thousand yen. This is only the fee payable for 1 year. Fees differ on the level of institutions and the facilities it provides. In some institutions you can also pay your fees in two installments; but it is better for Nepalese students to pay the whole year's fees in advance to go there.

Part-time Work:
       According to Japanese government's law, there is a provision where international students can work for limited hours abiding minimum rules. Students in pre-college visa are allowed to work 80 hours in a month whereas students   in college of student visa can work for 128 hours in a month. However, even if a student is permitted, there is a list of can-do and cannot-do work. Both of these students are only allowed to work after 90 days of arrival date. Some institutions can however allow its meritorious students to work after 1-2 months from the date
the classes begin.

जापानमा नेपाली विद्यार्थीहरुका लागि विविध हिसावले नौलो र फरकखालको मुलुक हो । भौतिक सुविधाका हिसावले विकाशको चरम चुलीमा रहेका जापानीहरु आफ्नो सभ्यता, संस्कृति र परम्परापनि त्यतिकै महत्वका साथ पालना गर्छन् ।

खासगरी नेपाली विद्यार्थीले जापान अध्ययनका लागि जाने भनेको प्रारम्भका एक/दुइ बर्ष भाषा अध्ययनकै लागि हो । त्यसपछिमात्र आआफ्नो विषयमा स्नातक वा स्नातकोत्तर वा ब्यवासायीक कलेजहरुमा प्रवेश गर्न सकिन्छ । त्यसकारण भाषा अध्ययनको अवधिभर खासगरी नेपालजस्ता गैरखान्जी (खान्जी भन्नाले जापान, चीन र कोरियाको आधिकारीक भाषा) मुलुकका विद्यार्थीहरुले विशेष किसिमवाट अध्ययनमा मेहनत र परिश्रम गर्नुपर्ने हुन्छ ।

सामान्यतया आफ्नो अध्ययन पश्चात जापानमा रोजगारीको अवसर चाहाने नेपाली विद्यार्थीहरुले विश्वविद्यालय वा ब्यवसायीक कलेज अध्ययन गर्दा प्राविधिक विषयमा वा इन्जिनियरिङ समुहमा अध्ययन गर्नु राम्रो हुन्छ । नेपालमा फर्केर वा जापानमै वसेर कुनै ब्यापार ब्यवसाय गर्न चाहाने ब्यवस्थापन वा अर्थसास्त्रको अध्ययन गर्नुपनि राम्रो होला । यी वाहेकपनि हामी नेपाली र हाम्रो नेपाललाई काम लाग्ने खालको अध्ययनका विषय जापानमा प्रसस्त छन् । आफ्नो इच्छा र योजना एवं योग्यता अनुसार तपाइले जुनसुकै विषयमा पनि अध्ययन गर्न सक्नुहुनेछ । नेपालमा अध्ययन गरेकै विषयमा जापानमा उच्चशिक्षा अध्ययन गर्नुपर्छ भन्ने वाध्यात्मक प्रावधान जापानी शिक्षा प्रणालीमा सामान्यतया छैन् ।

अध्ययनका लागि लाग्ने खर्च

छोटकरीमा भन्नुपर्दा जापानमा एक बर्ष भाषा अध्ययनका लागि कम्तीमा पाँच लाख असी हजार ऐनदेखि बढीमा दशलाख ऐनसम्म पर्दछ । यो रकम एक वर्षका लागि स्कुल कलेजको शुल्कमात्र हो ।
